John Lennon’s best ones

Some of my favorite ones #9 Dream John Lennon So long ago Was it in a dream, was it just a dream? I know, yes I know Seemed so very real, it seemed so real to me Took a walk down the street Thru the heat whispered trees I thought I could hear (hear, hear, hear) Somebody call out my name as it started to rain Two spirits dancing so strange Ah! böwakawa poussè, poussè Ah! böwakawa poussè, poussè Ah! böwakawa poussè, poussè Dream, dream away Magic in the air, was magic in the air? I believe, yes I believe More I cannot say, what more can I say? On a river of sound Thru the mirror go round, round I thought I could feel (feel, feel, feel) Music touching my soul, something warm, sudden cold The spirit dance was unfolding Ah! böwakawa poussè, poussè Ah! böwakawa poussè, poussè Ah! böwakawa poussè, poussè Ah! böwakawa poussè, poussè Ah! böwakawa poussè, poussè Ah! böwakawa poussè, poussè Ah! böwakawa poussè, poussè ...

To you and me - A Poem

To you and me To you my dear, my sky my tree My days, windy window free Gone are those sun shines.  Dry is the shore and there no more Perl hunting, nor the family lunch Stop by, think again and assume Where do we go, which to dream. Are we so busy or neglected? Belongings are priceless We bought them together Shop to shop, bargain Those weekend newspapers Marking and marketing Planning and adjusting No more value. We have money and we buy We have food we eat We fight no more, we have enough. Casuals or formals are so useless. We go by as no more News comes and goes. We try to keep them alive. -Wriju Ghosh Oct 31, 2010 Bangalore
